Data protection declaration

Flyerline Schweiz AG, Landstrasse 30, 8595 Altnau, Switzerland, takes the protection of your data extremely seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with both the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection statement.

1 Collection, processing and use of personal data

Our website can be used without providing personal data. We only receive access data without personal details such as the name of your Internet service provider, the page that brought you to our site and the pages you visit. These data are evaluated exclusively for the purpose of improving our offer and do not permit any conclusions to be drawn regarding you.

Personal data are only collected if you provide us with such within the scope of a survey or when placing an order. We use the data communicated by you, without your explicit consent, for the purpose of fulfilling and processing your order or inquiry. As soon as the contract has been performed in full and the entire purchase price has been paid, your data will be used internally for statistical and marketing-relevant analyses.

If we receive your e-mail address in connection with the sale of a product or service and you have not objected to this, we reserve the right to send you offers about our product range, invitations to customer events and general information about the company. You can object to this use of your e-mail address for this purpose at any time by sending us a message or by clicking on the unsubscribe link if we send the message electronically.

2 Disclosure of personal data to third parties

Your data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent,  

unless it is done for the purpose of executing an order, in particular for the delivery of the goods by our logistics partner, for performing credit checks or for processing a payment, or if such disclosure is permissible on the basis of relevant statutory provisions. 

Please note that online data transmissions (e.g. during e-mail communications) may be subject to security breaches. It is not possible to fully protect this data against third-party access.

3 Data security

Your personal data will be transmitted via the Internet during the order process. Payment-relevant data such as credit card data, passwords etc. will not be stored, but instead are collected and processed directly by our payment service provider Datatrans. We take technical and organisational measures to protect our website and other systems against loss, destruction, access, modification or the distribution of your data by unauthorised persons. Despite regular checks, it is not possible to offer complete protection against all dangers. Your customer account is only accessible by entering your personal password. You should keep your payment information confidential at all times and close your browser window after communicating with us, especially if you share your computer with other people.

4 Credit checks

If we effect prior performance, e.g. in the case of a purchase on account, we reserve the right to obtain credit information from the credit agency listed below to safeguard our interests. To this end, we transmit the necessary personal data to the credit agency for lawful processing and use the information received regarding the statistical probability of non-payment to reach a decision regarding the performance or termination of the contractual relationship.

5 Use of cookies

If you subscribe to our newsletter, your e-mail address will be used for our own advertising purposes. The newsletter is sent out by Flyerline Schweiz AG and your e-mail address will not be disclosed to third parties.

9 Website analytics by Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, an online analytical service operated by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies, a term used to denote text files stored on your computer which make it possible to analyse how you use our website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is sent to a Google server in the US where it is stored.

9.1 IP anonymisation

We have activated the IP anonymisation feature on our website. When this is activated, Google will shorten your IP address if you are located within one of the Member States of the European Union or in other countries party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to being transmitted to the USA. 9.4 Commissioned data processing

We have concluded a commissioned data processing contract with Google and are fully implementing the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities with respect to the use of Google Analytics.

9.5 Demographic features of Google Analytics

This website uses the “Demographics” function of Google Analytics. The feature allows reports to be created that contain statements regarding the age, gender and interests of visitors to the site. These data stem from both interest-based advertising by Google as well as from visitor data provided by third parties. The data cannot be attributed to any specific person. You can turn off this feature at any time from your Google Account ad settings or opt-out

10 Online advertising programme Google AdWords

We use the online advertising programme Google AdWords and the conversion tracking feature within the framework of Google AdWords. The conversion tracking cookie is set if you click on an ad displayed by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for the purpose of personal identification.

If you visit certain websites of ours and the cookie has not yet expired, Google may recognise that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to one of our websites. The information generated with the help of the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for us. We receive statistics on the total number of users who clicked the ad and were redirected to one of our websites containing a conversion tracking tag.  We do not receive any information that could be used to personally identify users.

We have integrated external content into our website. When you access this content, it is technically necessary for data to be exchanged between you and this provider.

11.1 YouTube

On our website, we use components (embedded videos) provided by YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company of Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. 

In order to embed the videos on our website, we use the “extended data protection mode” option offered by YouTube. 

When you visit a page that has a YouTube video, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. A command will then be issued to your browser to display the content on the webpage. 

According to information provided by YouTube, only data is transmitted to the YouTube server in "extended data protection mode", specifically data indicating which of our websites you visited to watch the video. If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, this information will be attributed to your YouTube member account. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website.

12 SSL encryption
