Frequently asked questions

  • What is a crowd barrier banner used for?
Crowd barrier banners turn event crowd control barriers into large advertising and sponsor surfaces. They're ideal for sponsor presences at marathons, festivals, concerts, sports tournaments and promotional stands, for event branding, privacy screens in front of backstage areas and for crowd guidance.
  • Which format fits my barrier?
We offer four standard formats: S single-sided (208 × 82 cm), M single-sided (215 × 73 cm), S double-sided (208 × 87 cm) and M double-sided (239 × 77 cm). The right size depends on the barrier model you use. We recommend measuring the height and width of your barrier before ordering.
  • What's the difference between single-sided and double-sided?
With the single-sided version, the banner is mounted on the front of the barrier and printed on that side only. With the double-sided version, the banner is folded over the top bar and hangs down on both sides, so the design is visible from both sides – ideal when your audience is on both sides of the barrier.
  • Why are the double-sided formats larger than the single-sided ones?
Double-sided banners fold over the top bar of the barrier. They therefore need extra dimensions to hang neatly on both sides, free of folds and tension. The standard sizes have been optimised accordingly.
  • EN: Which material suits your use case best?
PVC (510 g/m²) is the robust all-rounder for longer outdoor use and maximum durability. ProPES Outdoor stands out with its elegant textile look, is PVC-free and sustainable – ideal for events with high brand standards. ProPES FR is the right choice when fire safety regulations apply at indoor exhibitions or events.
  • How is the banner attached to the barrier?
The banner is attached with cable ties or tension cords through the metal eyelets directly to the barrier. Thanks to eyelets every 30 cm, it sits absolutely wrinkle-free, tensions evenly and doesn't flap in the wind. Mounting requires no tools and takes just a few minutes per banner.
  • Which materials are fire-rated?
PVC (B-s2, d0) and ProPES FR (B-s1, d0) meet the EN-13501-1 classification for hard-to-ignite materials. They are therefore also suitable for events and venues with fire safety requirements. ProPES Outdoor is not fire-certified.
  • How many eyelets does a banner have?
With eyelets every 30 cm all around, a banner has between 19 and 22 sturdy metal-finish eyelets depending on the format. This allows you to fix the banner wrinkle-free and with stable tension on the barrier.
  • Can I reuse and clean the banners?
Yes, all three materials can be used multiple times. ProPES Outdoor and ProPES FR are even washable – ideal for event companies that reuse banners across seasons. Clean PVC best with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
  • How fast will my banner be delivered?
We produce and deliver within 5 working days as standard. With the Express option, production time is reduced by one additional working day. You'll see the estimated dispatch date directly in the shop during configuration.
