The hexagonal collection bin made of polypropylene is robust, weatherproof and 100% recyclable. It is the official collection container of the RecyPac system. You choose size and quantity directly in the configurator. The bin comes flat-packed and is easy to assemble, the lid clicks together in a few simple steps.

What is a RecyBag collection box?

The RecyBag collection box is the matching container for the official RecyBag plastic collection bags. It provides a clean and space-saving way to collect plastic packaging and beverage cartons at home, in schools or in businesses.
Which sizes are available for RecyBag collection boxes?

RecyBag collection boxes are available in four sizes: 17, 35, 60 and 110 litres. There is a matching RecyBag collection bag for each box size.
Are bags already included with the RecyBag collection box?

RecyBag collection bags are separate products. Order the bag size that matches your box. The bags are supplied in rolls of ten.
What can be collected in the RecyBag collection box?

Completely emptied plastic packaging and beverage cartons can be collected in the box. This includes, for example, plastic bottles for detergents and cleaning products, plastic cups, trays, tubes, films, bags and beverage cartons. You can find more information at recybag.ch.
Can PET beverage bottles be placed in the RecyBag?

No. PET beverage bottles must still be disposed of through the separate PET collection system and do not belong in the RecyBag. Other recyclable materials that are collected separately should also be disposed of through the designated collection systems.
Is the RecyBag collection box the successor to the Bring-Plastic-Back box?

Yes. The RecyBag collection box is the direct successor product for customers who previously used a Bring-Plastic-Back box. It serves the same basic collection purpose in the new standardised RecyPac design.
What material is the RecyBag collection box made from?

The box is made from 3 mm thick polypropylene hollow-chamber material. The material contains 40% recycled content and is fully recyclable at the end of its service life.
Which RecyBag size is suitable for a household?

The 17-litre box is suitable for small households, limited space or low collection volumes. The 35- and 60-litre versions are practical standard sizes for many households. The 110-litre box is ideal for families, communal areas and larger collection volumes.
Is the RecyBag box also suitable for companies and schools?

Yes. The boxes can be placed in offices, break rooms, schools, shops, workshops or communal areas. If used at multiple locations, it is advisable to match the box size and emptying frequency to the amount of material collected.

The RecyBag collection bin is the official collection bin for the Switzerland-wide RecyPac plastic collection. Combined with the RecyBag plastic collection bag, it forms the unified solution for the separate collection of plastic packaging and beverage cartons – at home, in the office, in schools, in municipalities and in retail.

Available in four sizes, each in the uniform RecyPac violet (Pantone 266 C) and with the deposit-slot lid of the existing 110-litre bin:

What can go into the RecyBag collection bin?

Together with the RecyBag collection bag, you collect all plastic packaging from the household as well as beverage cartons in the RecyBag bin:

Beverage cartons: e.g. Tetra Pak of fruit juices, milk and dairy products
Plastic bottles: e.g. of cosmetics, cleaning and laundry products, fertiliser, sauces, vinegar, oil
Pouches: e.g. of bake-off bread, liquid soap, coffee, nuts, chips, toast bread
Films: e.g. of vegetables, salad, tofu, magazines as well as bubble wrap, transparent and six-pack films
Bags and sachets: shopping bags, mesh bags
Cups: e.g. of cherry tomatoes, drinks, ice cream, yogurt
Trays: e.g. of eggs, meat, biscuits, cheese, fruit, ready meals and takeaway dishes
Tubes: e.g. of cosmetics, sunscreen, toothpaste
Other packaging: printer cartridges, office supplies, dishwasher tablets

Important: empty is enough – packaging doesn't need to be cleaned.

Formerly «Bring Plastic Back» – now RecyBag by RecyPac

The RecyBag collection bin is the direct successor to the Bring Plastic Back collection bin. In 2025, the Bring Plastic Back system was integrated into the RecyBag system of the RecyPac association – with broader sponsorship, more return points and a Switzerland-wide unified solution for plastic and beverage carton recycling.

If you've been using a Bring Plastic Back bin until now, the RecyBag bin is your direct successor product – with the same collection purpose, in the new uniform design.

Material, design and Swiss production

The RecyBag collection bin is produced by Flyerline in Altnau (TG). Like all Flyerline collection bins, it is made of 3 mm thick fluted polypropylene (PP) sheet and already contains 40% recycled material. It is light, dimensionally stable, weatherproof and 100% recyclable at end of life.

The design is consistently in RecyPac and uses the deposit – a uniform look across all four sizes.

Returning full RecyBags

You return the full RecyBag collection bags to an increasing number of collection points in Swiss retail, in municipalities with a concession and at private recycling centres. The current list of return points can be found continuously updated at recybag.ch.
